Sledding

Gage has never really liked the snow. Last year he refused to walk in it and would cry if snow would get on his boots. This year he is a little better. He does whine if he gets snow on his coat, boots or gloves, but will walk to the car.

Well, Greg and I decided to take Gage sledding last week. We thought that he might like it as he would not have to physically touch the snow. WRONG!

He cried walking through the snow and while sitting on the sled. I finally told him that we would go inside and he stopped to smile for the camera. What a stinker. Maybe next year.

Gavyn's Dedication

Sunday was Gavyn's dedication at Grace Church. Dedicating my children is something that is extremely personal to me. I feel that it is important to stand in front of my church family and commit to raising my children to follow God.

Gage did such a good job standing on the stage. He just stood there and watched Pastor Jeff the entire time. He is getting to be such a big boy. Greg on the other hand just made me laugh. He introduced me as "Allison." Only my parents still call me that. He stated that he cannot be held liable for anything he said standing under such hot lights in front of hundreds of people. I gotta love him.

One of my favorite Bible verses now that I am a mom is: III John 1:4 - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. I pray that my children will grow up following God and His will for their lives.

The Beginning

I am the proud wife to Greg and mommy to two beautiful children. Gage is my feisty, smart, and fun loving 2 year old son and Gavyn is my sweet, slightly demanding, 5 month old daddy's girl. I want to try to chronicle our journey as a family. I'm not the best writer so bear with me as I try to get my thoughts out and onto this blog.
